There was heaps of room for our large party, and the place felt warm and comfortable, with a lovely rustic feel. The wood fires were amazing. It’s close to wineries and attractions, and there’s a fantastic pub within walking distance.

We’ll definitely book again next time we visit. The second story balcony has a lovely outlook, and the cafe and tavern are both an easy walk away. Our stay in the 12-sided, two story Yurt Altai was relaxing, with clean, spacious accommodation. It’s self contained, with a barbecue and wood burning fire, and a great base for Granite Belt attractions.

For our big family celebration, we booked all the accommodation for our large group, and A Stanthorpe Getaway worked perfectly. Each place was lovely, with plenty of space, all the amenities we needed, and a very clean feel.

We spent time on the porch watching the sunset with a glass of wine, and kangaroos hopped past. The front lawn was also a lovely spot for a picnic, with such beautiful scenery. The Rose cottage had everything we needed, and the whole property is so well looked after. The bed was super cozy, and the fire place made it feel extra special. We can’t wait to come back soon. Thanks Mark and Kirsten for making the stay so special.

The Rose Cottage was cosy and really nice, with a lovely view of the adjacent vineyard. It had all the essentials, plus a welcome package. Stanthorpe Getaway is conveniently close to lots of great vineyards, making it a lovely place to escape the city and enjoy wine country. My partner and I had a wonderful time and hope to return.
