There’s no management on-site, so keep that in mind. The Cambridge Apartment is very well placed for restaurants, and it has two bedrooms. One room contains the main bed, a small leather couch, and a TV. To get to the other bedroom, you go through the bathroom. Hobart was very cold while we were there, but the rooms had heating and electric blankets. Half of my blanket didn’t work, though it was only a small issue. The apartments are gorgeous.

On our second visit, we again appreciated how well placed it is, with plenty of bars and restaurants close by but not so close that we heard noise. Parking can be tricky at certain times, though we always managed to find a spot. There’s a little park with swings around the corner for families with young kids. We had a couple of small issues, and the host fixed them straight away. We’d definitely come back.

A lovely, clean house with wonderful old furniture, and the people were very polite and nice. Salamanca is just a two-minute walk away, and the street has plenty of good spots for breakfast or lunch. It worked really well as a base for visiting Hobart and Tasmania. Worth staying here.

The rooms are huge and very comfortable, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Salamanca Market and the Hobart Pier are both within walking distance, and street parking is available. A great place to stay in Hobart, Tasmania. I’d highly recommend it.
