Dinner and breakfast at the onsite restaurant were delicious, with generous portions. Definitely try the cob loaf and dip! The location worked well, with the lake across the road and easy access to Bendigo’s major attractions. Even on a main road, the rooms stayed quiet. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The Queen spa suite was a hit, with its large lounge and bathroom, and the furniture was in great condition. I appreciated the old fashioned touches, like the CD player, books, and jug of cold water in the fridge. The garden and pool courtyard were beautiful and gave the inward-facing rooms privacy, and the pool steps made getting in easy. The staff were kind and enthusiastic, and helped sort out a booking mishap smoothly. We’d be more than happy to book into Julie-Anna Inn again.

We spent Saturday night there, and I’d definitely stay again if I get back to Bendigo. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean, and the bed was dreamy. If I could’ve figured out how to take it home, I would have, lol.

Julie-Anna’s was a lovely venue for my mum’s wake, with beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. The team thoughtfully catered for different dietary requirements. Mik was incredible from the first time we contacted her, taking care of everything and making it all seamless during a difficult, stressful time for our family. I had lots of room in Rm 16, a corner room with an extra bedroom and beds, so it’d be perfect for families. The bathroom was quite big and had a bathtub. The restaurant exceeded my expectations: the parmi was delicious, with a massive portion and really tender, moist meat. We enjoyed chatting with the attentive restaurant staff each night we ate there. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and I absolutely loved my stay at Julie Anna Inn. I’d definitely come back!

The rooms were spacious and the pool looked inviting. Unfortunately, there were ants in the bathroom, and nobody told us before confirming on the day. The manager handled things very well when we decided to check out after one day. I’d recommend it, but confirm before arrival whether there are ants in the room you’re booked for.
