The bed was great, and the room had good heating. We spent three nights in a ground floor room at the front, where a small deck was a lovely spot to sit and look out at the ocean. When it was cold, there was enough space inside to shift the table and chairs and still enjoy the view. Breakfast came with very good croissants. I’d happily return if I’m in Bermagui again.

It’s a bit of an 80s time capsule, but the place is immaculate, well cared for, and has a comfortable new bed. The location is excellent and there’s off street parking. The woman who owns and runs it is quite a character, and she built the place 40 years ago. After getting through the 2019 bushfires and the pandemic, places like this deserve our support.

Pam was a wonderful host, making check-in easy and sharing useful local tips. We were short on time and wished we could have stayed another day. Our beach-view room was nice, though I think an upper-floor room would have been ideal. There’s plenty of parking, a pub just a few metres away, and a few other places to eat along Bunga street. The hotel itself is cozy, in Bermagui, a quiet town in a good way.

The woman managing the Beachview Motel was welcoming and happy to help. The decor has an old school feel, but everything was neat and clean. We had a lovely stay and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Bermagui :))
