The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked in this cosy, clean hostel. The rooms open straight onto the common area, so noise from people there could make it hard to sleep. The only other issue was that the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all.

Karen really went out of her way to make sure we had a great stay. She was professional, hardworking and personable. The hostel was clean and well laid out, with very comfortable beds and nice sheets and towels. It’s in a perfect location and has an interesting mix of people. Great hostel, you’ll be glad you stayed.

We visited with two friends in late 2020 and had a great time. The rooms were good, and nearly all the facilities were clean and tidy. It’s less than five minutes from the town centre, and the price wasn’t bad either. Lovely place!

It was easy to chat with the other guests in the shared spaces, and this place isn’t just for backpackers. Karin at reception was so lovely and helpful. The staff and other guests were super friendly, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds really comfy, and everything was very clean and tidy. Excellent location. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone travelling through Bicheno.
