Dragonfly Cottages

We were after a quiet little break, and Dragonfly Cottages suited us perfectly. The views stretch across vineyards and paddocks, and on our first day it felt like the clouds were right at the back door. The next day was clear as far as we could see. It’s an easy drive from Sydney, and only about 10 minutes into the city. Andrew made check-in simple, with the heater already on and breakfast supplies waiting in the cottage. The furnishings were lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was wonderfully hot after a day driving around Orange, seeing the sights and visiting nearby wineries. We appreciated the gas fireplace, though there’s reverse cycle air-conditioning as well. There’s a BBQ on the deck, but it was too cold for us to use it. We can’t wait to come back. Thanks for looking after us, Andrew 😀!

The cottage was spacious and private, with floor-to-ceiling windows framing the rolling hills and a very comfortable bed. Alpacas and sheep wandering in the paddocks nearby were a lovely bonus. The house had all the comforts we needed and felt idyllic. Andrew was attentive throughout our stay, checking in, sharing local activity ideas and options, and making sure the fridge was stocked when we arrived. We found complimentary milk, bread, eggs, bacon, dip and biscuits waiting for us. His care made the stay fantastic, and we can’t wait to return.

The view from the main bed and back deck was fantastic, and there were friendly alpacas wandering around too. The accommodation was great and clean. I’d recommend it for a couple, or for two couples renting both places. Sunset on the deck with a nice glass of wine is a good idea.

The cottage is spacious, with a generous bed, a lovely deck, a cozy couch and a great shower. I also liked the modern touches, including good internet, smart TVs and a Bluetooth speaker. The view is spectacular, and breakfast was lovely too. I’d highly recommend Dragonfly Cottages and would love to visit again!
