The fish and chips and steaks were both great, and the service made us feel very welcome. The old pub is lovely, and the restrooms were fresh and clean. A little note for my hubby: skip the vanilla latte, they don't make them here, and there’s no need to fuss. The cappuccino is a good choice. Glad we stopped in.

There’s a pleasant dining area inside and out, and a decent range of canned and bottled drinks, though not many beers on tap. The food stood out for its price, portion size, presentation and quality compared with the other pubs I’ve visited so far. That $17 hamburger meal would be hard to beat. Good country fare. If you’re travelling along the Bruce Highway, hit the brakes and stop here.

We found this little motel while passing through and were glad we did. The rooms were clean and tidy, and having the pub next door made dinner or a drink easy. We could bring our dog too, which was a bonus. A handy, clean place to stay on the way through. Definitely recommend it.

I called ahead and ordered a steak sandwich with chips. It was a great feed, and the service was great too. Well worth stopping, with truck parking across the road.

The food was good. The pub needs a beer garden and a playground for kids, and the smokers’ area should be moved away from the doors. They should follow the state smoking area laws.
