We met there for lunch to celebrate two family birthdays, with people coming from NSW and ACT, so it worked well as a central spot. The food and prices were good, and it was kid friendly without being crowded. Friendly staff and a nice, relaxing place to spend the day.

We stopped in for lunch while passing through town, and I’m glad we did. The chicken parmi and roast pumpkin salad with extra prawns were both delicious. Friendly atmosphere, great spot, and excellent food. I’d recommend it.

The bistro’s midweek lunch was about $15 and terrific value. The air conditioning was very efficient, which we appreciated. I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve visited from the Hunter twice now and will come back. Of the four Bowral pubs we’ve tried, this one is easily the best. The food was excellent, and the daily special is always good. Friendly staff gave us terrific service and made sure we were looked after. It’s also the only pub with full Keno and TAB facilities, which is what we wanted.

The room was clean, nicely designed, spacious, and in a convenient location. But mine was right beside the door everyone used to enter and leave the hotel. It made a loud rusty screech and slammed shut each time, and I kept hearing it through the night. It was a little quieter from around 1am to 4am, but I only slept for two or three hours when nobody went through. The sudden noise kept waking and startling me. I don’t think a room that makes for such an uncomfortable stay should be given to a guest.
