Cathy had lots of knowledge about the area, and there was plenty of reading material in the room. The views from the balcony were amazing, and the whole suite felt like a home away from home. I was welcomed as soon as I arrived and shown to a beautiful room. The attention to detail was incredible, from the king-size bed and all kinds of tea and coffee to homemade melting moments, nuts and a little carafe of port. Everything was spotless, and breakfast had everything I could want. Thank you, Cathy.

Cathy is a lovely host, with a great breakfast and homemade cakes waiting in the room. The bed was really comfortable, and the location is quiet but close to the town centre. A fantastic B&B, recommended.

The one drawback for us oldies is the hilly location, which makes walking a strain, even though the town centre is very close. Still, this is the best-value accommodation we’ve found after travelling around most of Australia. It’s a proper traditional B&B, with a huge comfy bed and breakfast served in the kitchen by our wonderful, informative hosts, Cathy & Brian. Lovely cake and crunch, plus port to go with it, were extra treats. The fridge, HDTV and wifi were all superb 👍

For an overnight getaway, this was a real gem 😊 Cathy and Brian were wonderful hosts, and our room was spotless and well equipped. They even arranged a fireworks display 😜 Breakfast was a fantastic continental spread with locally sourced food. We’ll definitely return for another little getaway.

Breakfast was generous and lovely, and the host was friendly without being intrusive. I was impressed on my first stay. The room had a comfortable king bed, spacious ensuite, fridge and everything for making hot drinks. I’ll most definitely come back.
