We stayed in the front room, beside a fairly busy road, but the garden and tall hedge gave us a nice privacy buffer. The room was nice and the location good, with restaurants and shops within a 20 minute walk. The river ferry is also within walking distance.

I spent four nights here and felt really comfortable. It has a lovely, cosy layout and atmosphere, and everything was clean and in great condition. The outdoor seating areas are relaxing for sitting around. It's also well located near cafes and transport. This will always be my first choice in Brisbane. Highly recommend.

We had a peaceful, delightful two night stay at this beautiful Queenslander. Our large, private garden room overlooked the verandah and a pretty garden. The modern ensuite was clean, and we could use a kitchen stocked with breakfast provisions and coffee-making supplies. It's a quiet spot within strolling distance of Oxford Street and its fabulous restaurants and bars. We highly recommend this well positioned place and will stay here whenever we visit Brisbane.

At the beginning of February, we spent two nights at Balmoral Queenslander. Our host Brian welcomed us warmly and talked us through the accommodation and the surrounding area. It was a lovely start to our trip through Australia.

The owner was a great host and gave us recommendations for nearby places to enjoy. They also have a map to show you where to go for food, drinks, or other things if you're unfamiliar with the area. The rooms were very clean and tidy, it was quiet, and the price was good.
