The room was quiet and clean, with nice views, a coffee pot in the kitchen and Foxtel. It was a pleasant place for a weekend getaway. The car lift was hard to use with my small Mazda, and I needed someone else's directions to get in and out. Confident drivers might manage, but a ramp or other parking option would be useful in future. Reception stayed closed during our visit, which made check-in awkward. There was a number to call in the main walkway, but a how-to guide in the confirmation email would help.

I live in a neighbouring building and dread seeing that one of these apartments has casual guests. It's fine when they're quiet, but most of the time they aren't. Groups are often rowdy, disrespectful and disregard the area's noise restrictions. There's no property manager dealing with the problem or available to contact about it.

The location and facilities were good, and the rooms were tidy and comfortable, but the check-in experience put us off coming back. My friend and I arrived just before 1pm for Supanova, and the roller screen was down with nobody at reception. I know check-in before 2pm isn't guaranteed, but leaving the front desk unattended was frustrating. Other places have let me leave my bags, and we'd previously checked in early at SODA, their sister hotel. I called twice and both calls went to the SODA reception desk. First, we were told the receptionist was fixing something in a room and would be down shortly. On the second call, they said she definitely knew we were there. Another arriving guest also called after we explained what was happening. The receptionist finally came down at 2.10pm and apologised, saying a guest's Foxtel wasn't working. I didn't think that counted as an emergency, and all the waiting took time away from the Convention Centre. The car lift was another whole level of stress.

The room was tidy, secure and close to the places we wanted to visit, but there was no view and we had no privacy unless we kept the blinds closed. There's no reception. You get a text with a safe code for the key and garage space, which felt impersonal. Using the car lift was a hassle both coming and going.
