Imperial Motel Windsor

For the price, it was quite adequate. The room was clean and tidy, had tea-making facilities, and I could open the window. The bathroom was compact but fine for me. There's a microwave downstairs, vending machines and laundry for guests to use, though unfortunately I lost some money in the snack machine. Remote access and entry codes worked perfectly well. I probably wouldn't choose the Imperial as a base for a long stay. My room had a bunk over a double bed, and I kept bumping my head, though other guests might be better coordinated!

An absolutely horrible company to deal with. I booked my father in while he was travelling ten hours to Brisbane for a specialist appointment at RWBH. When we arrived, we found that staff had booked the wrong dates. They took no responsibility and refused to put him up for the night. We had paperwork from our local hospital's patient travel department showing his arrival and departure dates, but they still wouldn't own the mistake. I would never recommend this hotel. The staff are rude and management is atrocious.

I couldn't even walk around the bed in the queen room. There was no water for the kettle unless I used the toilet tap, and the TV only had channels up to 10 with no way to watch Netflix or anything like that. Worst motel I've stayed in. I won't book here again.

The building has no elevator, which is a real hassle if your room is on an upper floor. We also didn't feel safe there because the motel shelters homeless people. The cleaning ladies we encountered during the day were very rude and showed no customer service skills. Our clothes stayed in our suitcases for the whole trip because there was no wardrobe. The bathroom was uncomfortable too: no shower booth, and the dirty curtain kept sticking to us while we showered. The sink was so tiny that washing your face or shaving was difficult, and you couldn't fit a cup under the tap to fill it. We stayed for several nights and got no cleaning, fresh towels, or replacement toilet rolls. You have to pay extra if you want a cleanup. Check-in was also a struggle because this is a digital self-check-in motel with no reception, and they sent us the wrong access code. It made the start of our holiday a nightmare, and the whole stay was disappointing. For the price, we expected basic comfort, service, and safety. It wasn't worth the money, and it's the worst motel we've ever stayed at. We absolutely wouldn't recommend it.
