Royal On The Park

Royal on the Park was beautifully presented and well suited to the function I attended. The staff were attentive and friendly, and kept everything running smoothly. Catering was excellent, with tasty food and plenty of choice. The function spaces were comfortable, well kept and thoughtfully arranged. The park views and easy access to the city added to the occasion. It was an enjoyable, seamless experience from start to finish. I'd highly recommend the venue for corporate events, functions or special occasions.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel was. The GM had left a lovely welcome note in my room, even though it was my first stay and I had no status with the hotel. The room was clean and well equipped, and the staff were warm and helpful. I really enjoyed being here.

The pool was a welcome relief, and the staff were friendly and informative. The hotel has an interesting history and feels like a bit of old Brisbane. Its location is perfect. Rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and there was a fridge, hanging space, and plenty of tea and coffee with proper milk. The bathrooms were clean but a bit tired. I didn't dine here, so can't comment on the food. The two large beds had to share one side table, which wasn't enough space. There were USB points, but they didn't work, though the one in the clock did. The price reflects some of this, and I thought it was good value.

I like the vintage vibe, and the restaurant food was good. Staff were polite, the room clean, and the bed very comfortable. It was easy to park, and the hotel was quiet overnight, though the construction site next door is currently noisy from 7am. The hot water was a bit finicky, and the gym isn't too appealing. I'd stay again.
