Sedgebrook Apartments

The only good thing about my stay, while my husband was in hospital, was the location. After checkout I got a text claiming I’d damaged the bath. They charged my card $200 and said I’d have to pay for all repairs. I did not cause any damage. After many abusive phone calls and a repairer reviewing the alleged damage, my deposit was returned. What was already a stressful time became a nightmare. Be careful and document any existing issues when you check in. The room was acceptable but needed a good clean. I had to clean dust off the air-con and bathroom vent myself. The shower was mouldy and the screen unusable; the spa and dishwasher were unusable too. The white bed blanket was stained and had to be washed before I could use it.

The balcony was enormous, and the room had loads of natural light and space. The staff were quick, polite and really accommodating. I was visiting from Sydney and stayed from 10-13 August 2025. I can't recommend it enough. 10/10!

Na, the building manager, was especially helpful and considerate. My apartment was a little worn but clean, comfortable, and everything worked properly. Having cooking and laundry facilities made a real difference, and there’s a Post Office, cafes, chemist and convenience stores within a block. I needed to be near Brisbane Private Hospital, which is about a five-minute walk away. The CBD is close too, though the walk is very steep. Secure parking is available. The rooms are smoke-free, but smoke from residents on verandahs drifted into the hallways and other verandahs.

Na did a lot to make sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my stay. My apartment was spacious and very clean, with a lovely view from the balcony. Cafes and places to eat are nearby, and the CBD is close. Central Station is about 10 minutes away. I spent four nights at Sedgebrook on Leichhardt and had a great time. I’ll definitely stay there again.
