The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean, and the staff friendly and ready to advise on how to get around. The location is handy for transit, with cafes, a bottle shop, a doctor’s surgery, the GPO, and parking nearby. There’s also wheelchair access at the entrance.

My family enjoyed our three-week stay. The free Loop bus was especially handy, running to the city every 10 minutes each day from nearby. The place is also close to the city, the Valley, the Post Office, a restaurant, a TAB, a convenience shop, a medical center, and a pharmacy.

Clean, nice apartments with fairly safe and easy access. Roma St Parklands, Central station, and Queen Street Mall are all close, and there’s an IGA, bottle-o, and nice pub within walking distance.

The move was handled well, and they were very apologetic when a maintenance issue at the apartments we’d originally booked, 'The Hub', meant we had to stay at Spring Hill Central Apartments instead. Our apartment was very large and had the essentials for a few days in Brisbane. Still, a few things were frustrating. The hallway smoke alarm outside our room beeped constantly, giving the place a very 'submarine-sonor' feel. The living-area A/c seemed to sense whether anyone was in the room, but it randomly switched off while we were sitting there. The fridge couldn’t freeze ice overnight, and the removable 'European style' shower head wouldn’t sit properly in its holder, so we had to hold it or wedge it awkwardly. It’s fine as budget accommodation, but parts of it do feel budget.

There’s no swimming pool, but it’s still a good place to stay. The location is great, with a free Loop bus stop right at the doorstep, restaurants and cafes nearby, a medical facility just below, and schools within walking distance. Management was good too.
