Spring Hill Inn

The contactless check-in was so convenient, and the immaculate room looked recently renovated. There’s a shared kitchen room if you need one, and the location worked well for the Valley and the other places we visited. The only issue was the lovely seating area. Conversations there echo through the complex late at night. A couple kept coming and going for two hours from 11:30pm over some personal issues, and I was kept awake. I do recommend the place.

We were in the family room when a hot water tap burst, and my partner was sprayed with hot water. No one asked if we were okay. I couldn’t get anyone to answer the provided phone number, and had to cancel the booking and find another hotel. They just said there was no room, told me to ring the booking company for a refund, and said sorry because we hadn’t booked directly with them. While I stood outside in direct sunlight trying to find somewhere else, they took the mattresses out and started cleaning the carpet with our belongings still in the room. They gave us no assistance at all. Definitely do not recommend.

The room was just the right size, looked newly renovated, and had a really comfortable bed. I’d absolutely stay here again!

The shared outdoor area had smashed glass, which felt unsafe, and the parking space was uncomfortably narrow. Cleanliness was poor too, with hair left in the shower. The room was much smaller than it appeared in the pictures, the bed was extremely hard, and the thin walls let me hear my neighbour snoring. Constant street noise and light coming into the room made it very hard to rest. The booking process was careless, even addressing the confirmation text to the wrong name. I’d booked several nights but left after the first because the experience was so poor. The property has potential, but it needs better cleanliness, soundproofing, and attention to detail. As it is now, I can’t recommend it.
