The managers were very friendly, and I loved my apartment. It had a small kitchen, washer and dryer, and the place is great for UQ, with the train station only minutes away. My one problem was the dryer: I couldn't get it to run long enough to dry a load, as it kept switching off after about 15 minutes. The rest of my stay was great.

The compound is in a dismal state, with little security, poor upkeep and a lot of dirt. For example, the stairway has dead lightbulbs. Even if you keep your own place clean, expect to run into cockroaches of all sizes and appearances.
