Bucks Point - Norfolk Island Holiday Homes

UPDATE: They're liars as well. In their response to my review below, they said our family stayed at their accommodation in January 2023. We never stayed there and weren't able to, which is why we initially begged for a refund. They still refused, even though the holiday was sold as fully refundable. After they denied a refund and offered a credit voucher, we checked whether the family could travel in January 2023, but it was impossible. We lost our money, they kept it, and now they're claiming we stayed to make themselves look better. My CAUTION still stands. Don't book here unless you want to lose $10,000! We booked a Norfolk Island holiday through Spacifica Travel. The documentation said it was fully refundable, but when Norfolk Island closed, they changed the rules and said we could only have a credit voucher. We can't travel back to the island in the near future, so that voucher isn't practical. They were inflexible and rude throughout, sending us back and forth between the travel agency and accommodation provider. Nobody would take responsibility. We're out more than $10,000, they won't answer our emails or refund request, and told us to take it up with fair trading if we wanted our money back. It's not worth the headache. We booked because we needed a break to unwind and destress, but now we're out over $10K for a holiday we never even took. We'll have to fight through fair trading for our money despite the quote and receipt saying fully refundable on all the paperwork. Use CAUTION. DO NOT RECOMMEND!
