I wanted a classic English cottage for my birthday and found just the right place. It's beautifully designed, with lots of distinctive antiques, and the bedrooms were comfortable. The cottage was warm, cosy, and well maintained. I could have spent all day reading in the magical private gardens. The host was really friendly and provided eggs, fresh bread, cereal, milk, and juice for our stay, which was a lovely surprise. I'd love to come back!

There are four separate self-contained cottages to choose from at this lovely escape in the Bowral hinterland. The expansive gardens make a great private spot for a walk. We stayed at Southdown Cottage, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. The cottages are well provisioned, with breakfast, internet WiFi, and cable TV included. Margret was a wonderful, accommodating host, and we'd definitely stay there again.

The cottage was clean, cosy, and well equipped, with a full kitchen and provisions. The bedding was warm and comfortable, which we especially appreciated on our late June visit. The estate's lush green gardens were perfect for a morning stroll with coffee. A brilliant little find for unwinding in beautiful Bowral. We'd recommend it and would visit again.

What a picturesque, beautiful place to stay. The gardens were lovely to wander through, and the kids travelling with us were a big fan of the ducks and chickens.
