We were pretty upset that people entered our private villa while we were staying there. On the last day, a pool cleaner let themselves in well before checkout while we were waking up, with a direct view into the bedroom. There was no notice at all. The aircon ticked all night on our second night, so we couldn’t sleep until I managed a temporary fix the next morning. A bedside light also blew when we tried the dimmer, though that must have been a faulty bulb and nobody’s fault. The pool was absolutely freezing even on a 30+ degree day, despite being advertised as heated, and we’d rented the villa specifically for it. In the adjacent store, curtains were pulled back, so shoppers could see straight into the pool and outdoor shower. Nobody wants to be seen showering. Even with these problems, the property was beautiful and well maintained, and we loved using the bikes. I hope the feedback helps improve other stays.

The kitchen had everything we needed, and the comfortable couch and living area made it easy to settle in. We all slept well in the huge bed. There was plenty of space for the three of us, including our 11-month-old, and it’s a lovely spot for a quiet getaway. We’d recommend it and would happily stay again.

The house is really cool and in a great location, and it made for a nice romantic week away. A few updates would help: the couch is old and uncomfortable, and the pool wasn’t heated as advertised. Those seem like minor things the owner could fix quickly to get it to five stars. It’s a bit pricey, and at that rate you’d expect it to be top notch.

A very comfortable place for a couples retreat, with everything you need and a great location for walking to everything. We’d certainly stay again. The one thing we wished for was warmer pool water, especially in late March when the pool area doesn’t get much sun. Thank you.
