The staff explained everything clearly and were attentive when we asked for help. The location is very central, so you can walk everywhere. It’s not right on the beachfront, but it’s on the corner next to the beach. The room was large, very clean, and nicely laid out, with a stunning bathroom and big shower. The bed was super comfortable, and the soft sheets made for a few great nights’ sleep. The only downside was the shower pressure, which wasn’t very good, though it didn’t really bother us. We’ll definitely be back!

The staff and location were the only good parts of this stay. We’d booked well ahead, but ended up on the ground floor in an accessible room, despite the listing saying it had a bath. It faced the storeroom and back lane, and staff banging around early each morning, along with the garbage trucks, kept waking us. The bathroom was just average. There were dirty fingerprints all over the ceiling and paint peeling from the skirting boards. A disappointing stay.

We were travelling with our baby and found the hotel relaxed and accommodating. The room was clean and roomy, with a nice view and a great bathroom, and arriving and leaving were both easy. The beach is only a few steps away, with good cafes and places to eat nearby. Staff were friendly from the start, and they even did something special for my wife’s birthday. It felt like good value for the location and quality. We’d happily stay again.

Right by the beach and in the middle of town, so the location was hard to beat. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and everyone on staff was really friendly. There’s also underground parking that locks after 7pm and is for guests only. We spent a few days in Byron, and this was easily the best hotel of our NSW and QLD trip. Book this place if you’re staying in Byron.

We slept really well for a couple of nights, thanks to a great mattress. The room was spacious, open, clean and well looked after. Staff were very friendly, and the free coffee, cakes and bananas in the foyer were a nice extra. We’d definitely come back. Good job, staff.
