DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cairns

After spending several months in hotels around the cairns region, this Doubletree takes first place by a long shot. The gardens and presentation are stunning, and our room was spacious and very clean. From the warm cookie at check-in to the friendly staff and standout customer service, the stay was memorable. Service like this feels rare nowadays. Manager on duty Luse went above and beyond to help us. We'll be raving about her and her staff to everyone we know for a long time. Not a single fault, and we'll certainly return as soon as we can. Thank you to Luse and the whole team. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

My room was huge, with a great ocean and rainforest view, and I loved having a balcony. The AC worked amazingly well, and the shower had plenty of hot water and great pressure. The breakfast buffet had lots of options, and they would prepare eggs any way you wanted. The woman at the excursion desk was fantastic and very helpful with planning. The hotel sits at the quiet end of the busy tourist area. In about five minutes on foot, you can reach all the restaurants and bars. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and respectful. Luse and Anne made me feel at home and very welcome in Cairns.

I checked out today after a great stay at Doubletree Hilton. The whole staff were very helpful, and I especially want to thank Bella at reception, who was on night duty. She was amazing and guided us so well, making the stay more memorable. Team, please pass along my thanks to the sweet lady.

Kana greeted us at the restaurant with a warm, angelic smile, and the other staff gave exceptional customer service at breakfast. We don't often get welcomed with such a smile and service. It felt like my day had already been made.
