WARNING!! The business has been closed for quite some time, but this property is still listed on booking.com. We arrived at night and were left stranded, so we booked somewhere else close by. We were told this had happened to other people before. After trying numerous times to call and email that night, I finally received a TEXT message with just two words: “business closed”. I’m completely baffled that it’s still on the site. We contacted booking.com about the issue and have now gone through the refund process. Check with a property before booking through any website to avoid this really stressful situation.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grosvenor for about six weeks, and the friendly, helpful guests made it even nicer. The rooms had everything we needed for a long visit, stayed clean, and came with fresh towels every day. We loved relaxing by the pool, and there was lots of yummy food nearby. Ben, the manager, the staff and the cleaners were fantastic, especially Donna. Looking forward to coming again. Thanks, Ben and team!

There’s no reception, nobody to let you in or talk to, and the phone was cut off. The room doesn’t exist; it’s a permanent living hotel now. I arrived and had to find a different hotel. Don’t recommend booking, you’ll lose your money.

The pool is tiny, and no warning sign told us not to swim after chemicals had been added. On a hot day at 1 pm, a receptionist happened to tell me to wait at least two hours before getting in because the pool guy had just put chemicals in the water. I was reading by the pool when two ladies came over to swim, so I warned them. They looked terrified. The rooms weren’t cleaned at all during our six nights. The “cleaner” only took rubbish from the bins, and towels were changed only after I asked the cleaner to please change them. If I could choose zero stars, I would. Do yourself a favour and don’t stay in these apartments.

I booked seven months ago, but when we arrived we couldn’t get in because the hotel hadn’t been operating for a year. I blame booking.com for leaving it on the site. $900 down the drain!
