The only good thing about this hotel was the location, within walking distance of the Esplanade, pier, casino and night markets. Our two-bedroom apartment had serious problems. The lounge aircon was loud and still didn't cool the room after running for three days, and its fan was thick with dust. There was mould on the main bedroom ceiling, blood on the sheet and paper-thin pillows. After the first night, my daughter woke to find a bed bug on her bed. The bathroom had mould too. Turn the shower up and the pressure felt like a pressure cleaner that could strip skin; turn it down and the pipes screeched.

The location was good, close to the Esplanade, but the rooms were very basic and could have used a thorough clean. We found ants and roaches. There was no room service during our stay, and supplies weren't provided for three guests: we didn't get enough milk sachets, fresh towels or extra toilet rolls.

The kids loved the pool, and the accommodation had everything our family needed. It was easy to walk into town, to the foreshore and to the shopping districts. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and we'd definitely book here again.

The location is TOP, and the room worked perfectly for my five-month stay. I really enjoyed being here, and the admin, service and management were incredibly good. I'll be back.

Seventeen families stayed for three nights, and not one room was serviced. Four rooms had no hot water for the whole stay, while seven had dirty sheets and pillowcases. One mattress had blood stains, another room had piss all over the toilet and floor, and one was full of cockroaches. There were no smoke alarms, and the light and power point switches were half inside the walls. Absolutely disgusting. I would NOT recommend anyone stay there, especially children.
