The shower pressure was a little weak, though still adequate. Otherwise, we had a really enjoyable four-night stay. The older property was clean and well maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. It was well placed for the beach and restaurants. Jim at reception was welcoming and friendly. After our 6am flight from Adelaide, we were glad to get into our room early and start relaxing. We'd definitely book here again on our next visit to palm cove.

The pool was the best we'd tried on our trip, deep and heated just right. Our room and suite felt cosy but spacious, and the balcony was a lovely place to sit and watch the rain one evening. Check-in was easy, the front desk service was wonderful, there was plenty of parking, and the beach was only a few steps away. We loved ending our Cairns trip at the Reef Retreat in Palm Cove, and can't wait to stay there again.

It's our fourth time staying at The Reef Retreat Palm Cove, and another relaxing visit. The bed is comfortable, the linen is good, and the resort was very clean. We love the balcony looking over our own little rainforest, the outdoor barbecue and dining area, and being close to the beach and all those cafes and restaurants. Jim and Joanne are so welcoming, and Alan does a great job keeping the gardens immaculate. Thanks, Jim, for another restful stay!
