Our old dog was comfortable in the pet-friendly cabin, which mattered in that hot weather. The two air conditioners worked really well, and the bed and linen looked almost new. After-hours check-in was easy, and we had all we needed.

We only had one night here, but next time we’ll stay longer. The park felt safe and welcoming, and the staff were great. There are lots of improvements underway, plus two good off-lead dog runs that our frenchies loved. We also got dinner from Miss Fangs food truck in the park, and it was delicious. ❤

The food trucks on site were a handy touch, whether you wanted breakfast or dinner, or just a coffee or hot chocolate in the morning. We were told they won’t be running in the warmer months, though. The park has powered and unpowered sites, clean hot showers, laundry and other amenities, and check-in was easy and friendly.

We found the location uncomfortable, especially after dark, as the surrounding area felt unsafe. No one mentioned this when we booked or checked in, and learning about it only after arriving was disappointing, particularly for families or people new to the area. A heads-up would have helped us prepare and make an informed choice. The caravan park was tidy and its facilities acceptable, but the lack of transparency means we wouldn’t stay here again.

The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow, though the pool was small and cold. The amenities were good, and the playground could use more shade. We stayed two nights, and the kids had to clean up our campsite when we arrived. Nobody wants to pitch their camp in the mess left by other people.
