The rooms have a rural feel and aren't too dated, though they are clean. Everything worked, the staff were friendly, and there's a pool on site. Rooms beside the road can get noisy, but that's not much of an issue if you're heading out early.

A little tired, perhaps, but I got such a warm welcome, and they were able to fit my van and trailer. My room was clean and had plenty of equipment, with lots of places to eat nearby. A very happy traveller.

We were lucky to get one of the newly refurbished king rooms, and it was great. The pool was gorgeous, and the staff were fantastic and really helpful. Everything was fantastic.

For a night or two, this is a decent place to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with modern air conditioning, a fridge and a TV, though they're a bit dated. It's a 3-star hotel, and the price reflects that, so don't expect a resort suite at this price. The owners or staff, I'm not sure which, are lovely, and you can walk into town.

We got room 28 upstairs in May 2025. It's a bit old-school, but clean and tidy, with a superb double bed and modern air conditioning. The large sliding window looks over the park at the southern end, gets afternoon shade in winter, and lets in a nice breeze. There's also a big-screen TV, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee, tea and two mugs. If you need a bowl and dessert spoon for cereal or a plate and cutlery, the office can lend them in the afternoon at no extra charge. We were lucky to find a room here, or anywhere, with a rodeo on that weekend. If stairs aren't a problem, I recommend this room. For travelling to Atherton, I recommend Atherton Holiday Park and caravans.
