We had such a memorable stay with friends at The Arthouse Freycinet, and I’d love to return. Our first trip to Tassie was made even better by this place. The house was spacious and beautiful inside, just like its name, with stunning views outside. It had everything we needed, including laundry, a fully equipped kitchen, and wood, kindling, and firelighters for the fireplace, which we enjoyed on a cooler evening. I liked all the thoughtful touches, including an Arthouse souvenir drink bottle we were invited to take home.

We had a great stay. Everything was very comfortable, and it felt like a lot of thought had gone into making the accommodation enjoyable. The high-speed internet was a bonus, and the artwork around the rooms, lampshades included, is worth a closer look. From the balcony, the fabulous view across the bay to the mountains made it easy to relax. It was also a lovely walk along the beach to the local cafe, tavern, and The Lodge for dinner. We’ll definitely be back to chill again.

We loved having everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxed stay at The Arthouse. The natural setting is beautiful, with easy beach walks nearby and more challenging hikes if that’s your thing. It felt like a real home away from home, and we’d love to come back and spend longer enjoying the area.

We had such a good time at The Arthouse. The windows frame an incredible view, and there’s interesting art throughout the beautifully appointed place. We felt lucky to find somewhere so peaceful, with that lovely view and everything Coles Bay has to offer.

Those custom water bottles were such a thoughtful touch, and handy to take along on our outings. We also enjoyed the yoga gear, especially for a morning practice with those lovely views, and the board games made for fun evenings with friends. Starlink WiFi was fast, too, which was a welcome bonus. The beds were wonderfully comfortable after a day out, and from the moment we arrived, the views of the Hazards mountains had me captivated. The Arthouse Freycinet exceeded our expectations. I’m already looking forward to staying again.
