Cow Bay Hilltop Escape

We loved how quiet it was, with no noise from people. The metallic starlings filled the silence, and at night we could hear insects and a long-nosed bandicoot shuffling around. In the morning, bird calls woke us up. The house is off-grid, with no phone service at all, and switching off from everyday stress felt great. It’s open and spacious, with little quirks that made it feel like home, and the deck has a stunning view.

I spent ten days here and would gladly come back. It was a peaceful break from the rest of the world, and I’d happily recommend this beautiful place to others. I walked the owners’ bush tracks, listened to the rainforest, and wandered along the sands at Cow Bay. From the middle of the rainforest, I could see the Coral Sea while having breakfast, dinner, and tea. It was a simple pleasure. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the shower was relaxing. Thanks for having me.

The house was clean and comfortable, and the views were outstanding. I’ve just come back from a really beautiful, relaxing holiday and would love to return someday. It was worth every penny, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.
