The farm was stunning, and being able to wander around the whole property and meet the friendly animals made the stay special. My two-year-old loved it. Anna had thought of ways to keep him busy, including collecting eggs one morning, and Tony got him helping to feed the alpacas and cows. He was so excited about it all. Our room was warm and comfortable in the middle of winter, and breakfast each day was divine. The scrambled eggs were the best I’ve ever had, the corn fritters went down well, and the homemade banana bread was incredible. We had three wonderful nights at Strawhouse bnb and are already planning our next stay. This could become a yearly tradition. 10/10, would recommend.

There was a nice little spot by the pond where we could eat and relax, plus an area for a BBQ and fire. Feeding the animals was a fun experience, and it was easy to find things to do around the area, with Stanthorpe not too far away. Anna and Tony were great from the moment I started organising our four days away. They were friendly, made us feel welcome, explained the rules, and took time to answer the kids’ questions. When we needed extra help, they were there. Thanks again for having me and my four kids. We really enjoyed our time away.

We stayed in the Tiny House cabin, which was just the right size for our trip and really comfortable and cozy. The scenic views suited it perfectly, and it was the best value we’ve had on a trip. Anna showed us around the property and introduced us to the farm animals. She was an amazing host. The location worked well too, with a short drive to town, dinner, wineries, and tourist attractions. Breakfast the next morning was great, especially the corn fritters, the best I’ve ever had. My wife and I had a fantastic time. We’d happily recommend Anna and her beautiful Straw House BnB.

Our small dog got to join us on the farm, including on walks and while we chatted with the animals, which was lovely. Anna and Tony were great hosts and happy to help with anything. We absolutely loved our stay, and the location was convenient for getting around. Definitely a place to stay when visiting the Granite belt region.

The animal experience was a highlight, and the hosts, Anna & Tony, were very accommodating. They also made delicious home cooked breakfasts with fresh local produce. We spent three nights in one of the straw cottages. It was cozy and clean, a fantastic farm stay. We’ll definitely be back and will recommend it to family and friends.
