Darwin City Apartment with Harbour View & Pool

We spent three nights here and the location was great, but I didn’t care for the apartment’s decor or lighting. The advertised ‘Harbour View’ looked out onto a large, imposing brown structure on the neighboring building’s rooftop instead. On the second morning, the building alarm sounded and two Fire Brigade officers came to our door. The smoke detector in our room had triggered it while I was showering with the bathroom door open. There was no bathroom fan, and nothing in the apartment warned us this might happen. A few days after we left, Booking.com told us the owner wanted $37 for a broken switch. We hadn’t broken anything, and after Booking.com followed up, the owner dropped the claim. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment.
