We stayed in the Lodge Studios, where the bathrooms are huge and feel incredibly luxurious. The service was impeccable from every staff member we met, and the Lake House stay felt like pure luxury. We loved the multi-course dinner at the restaurant, especially the sublime eggplant 'art of the vegetable'. Rajish made sure we had a perfect evening. The Spa was amazing too, and we loved the Sweet Dreams Ritual package. Ask for Nikki, she's lovely and really good at her job. The nearby lakes have peaceful, beautiful walks, which we enjoyed every day. Daylesford's shops, cafes, galleries and restaurants are an easy walk or drive away. Thanks for a great stay, we can't wait to come back.

The dinner à la carte was out of this world, and the staff were so attentive, professional and courteous. They were polite, nothing seemed like too much trouble, and they made us feel special. When we got back to our room, there were cookies and a lovely anniversary note waiting for us. It all set the mood for a very special getaway. What a phenomenal treat, wow. Thank you all for making this an unforgettable stay. You should be proud of yourselves.

We spent our honeymoon at Lake House in Daylesford and had a wonderful time. The sunny afternoon cocktails by the pool, couples massage at the spa, Dairy Flat Farm tour, and second-night dinner with matched wines were highlights. The staff and service were excellent, and we really appreciate it all. A few little things could be better: cushions would make the balcony chairs more comfortable, the mini-bar needed replenishing on day two, and a more high-end hairdryer than the Remington would add to the luxury feel, perhaps a GHD or Dyson.

The food, presentation and service at lunch were brilliant, but the suggested wine matches let down a dining experience that cost nearly $1000. At $125 per person, the wine was average alongside fine food. The Cabernet Franc blend and Mouvedre killed the duck and pork. It seemed like the accountants had joined forces with the chefs and sommeliers on the pairing list. Previous meals here haven't disappointed us on the paired wine. Pick your own wine and you'll have a great experience!

My husband and I had a wonderful evening, and the staff were so friendly. The five-course meal was superb, and the service couldn't be faulted, just what you'd hope for at such a classy restaurant. Thank you so much for the birthday "dessert".
