Spread across three acres, the property features three distinct options: Texada, a fully self-contained retreat with a private hot tub on a screened deck; Saturna, a larger, private accommodation for couples, also with a private hot tub and spacious deck; and Salt Spring, ideal for up to three couples or smaller groups. Salt Spring can be combined with Saturna to accommodate up to ten guests, providing four bedrooms, two indoor bathrooms, two kitchens, two TV rooms, an outdoor bath/shower, extensive outdoor seating and dining areas, and a private hot tub on the top deck, all connected by a stairway. The entire Sutton Spring property can also be rented for functions and large groups of up to twelve. Located a short 10-minute walk from the shops and restaurants on Vincent Street and the lake precinct, Sutton Spring offers both seclusion and convenience.

Cherie was a pleasure to communicate with, and we’re sure we’ll return. At Sutton Spring, we stayed in Texada, where everything was thoughtfully set up. The hot tub was ready to use, the rooms were clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great as well.

The wildlife sounds in the morning are so soothing, something you rarely hear in the city. We’ve stayed at a few of the cottages over the years, and Saturna Cottage is our favourite. Having the spa right outside the door is such a relaxing convenience. The cottage has all the amenities you need, so you can just unwind in the peaceful setting and admire the art sculptures. Cherie, the owner, goes above and beyond to make your time away easy. Highly recommend 😊

We loved our time at Sutton Springs, and there’s no need for us to look anywhere else next time we’re in the Daylesford area. It’s a great place to relax, with plenty of space and everything spotless. The spa was so good, and there were a few kangaroos hanging about too.

I want this house! Saturna has so much going for it: the architecture, attention to detail, lighting, spa, privacy and location. It’s spacious but still cosy. The only thing I couldn’t make sense of was the padlock on the second bedroom. I’d added a second guest to the booking so they could use that room, but we ended up making do with one bed. It was bizarre to have the extra room locked when we’d paid for two rooms.

There was quirky artwork everywhere, including lots of little art surprises hidden in the gardens. We stayed two nights in the Salt Spring three bedroom accommodation and loved it. It was clean and comfortable, the beds were comfy, and we had everything we needed. We’ll definitely return. Highly recommend.
