Wildsights Villas

Fran made us feel welcome from the start. When I realized I’d booked the wrong dates, she went out of her way to fit us in, which saved our trip. Wildsights Villas was a comfortable, clean and well-maintained base for exploring the Shark Bay region or visiting the dolphins at Monkey Mia. It had what we needed for a self-sufficient stay and felt more personal and cared for than a standard hotel. The location is hard to beat if you want to get around Denham on foot. The local IGA is a 3-minute walk for supplies, the beachfront and local restaurants are just steps away, and Monkey Mia conservation park is a short drive. We’d happily come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable stay in Denham.

The first impression wasn’t great, but inside it was clean and really well presented. The location is close to everything, and I’ve never slept in a better bed. The sheets felt amazing too. Loved my stay here ❤️

The bedroom was gorgeous, and everything in the villa was easy to reach on foot, with the beach and stores just 2min away. We walked everywhere. The villa had all the appliances and kitchenware we needed, and communication was prompt and helpful. They even offered secure storage for our boat while it was out of the water.

I don’t recommend this place. The owner’s behavior made an already bad stay much worse, and I regret choosing Wildsight Villas. We were only about 30 minutes late checking out, but she kept nagging us about the delay, which was stressful and unnecessary. Then, while we were still inside and in the middle of cleaning, she came into the house without permission and started cleaning too. That felt completely inappropriate. I had selected 2 adults and 2 kids when making the reservation, and apparently there was some issue with that which I hadn’t noticed. Instead of calmly explaining it, she accused me rudely of not telling her about the children. The price was the same with or without children, so it made no sense and didn’t justify how she spoke to me. She also kept saying we hadn’t cleaned, which simply wasn’t true. We had cleaned and were finishing up when she barged in. The house wasn’t worth the price, and the way we were treated ruined our stay. I’ve never regretted choosing accommodation like this before. Being pushed out so aggressively over a mere half-hour delay still makes me nervous to think about. Extremely impolite, intrusive and unprofessional.
