Best Western Plus Canberra Central Apartments

We had a clean, comfortable apartment with everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen for making breakfast. The indoor pool looked lovely and was clean, though we didn’t have time for a swim, which was a shame. The complex was very clean and quiet, close to shops, restaurants and the sights we wanted to see. Staff were kind, courteous and quick to respond to requests. We’ll definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time and would definitely return. Our three-bedroom apartment for six was clean, comfortable and well stocked, with everything we needed to cook. There was a washing machine and dryer, and plenty of room in the bathroom. The pool was clean, but we were too busy to swim. Staff were kind and courteous, and always ready to help with requests promptly. Shops and lots of restaurants are close by.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially when we got our dates wrong and needed an extra night. The room had the crockery and appliances we needed, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet at night. But we found dead cockroaches in both the living room and bedroom. The bedroom sliding door was filthy with cobwebs, the fly screen had holes all over it, and the paintwork looked tired. We weren’t sure what room servicing was meant to include. One day the towels were changed but the bed wasn’t made. The flyer said rooms wouldn’t be serviced on public holidays, and unfortunately we were there over Christmas. A thorough clean, repainting and repairs to the fly screens would make a difference.

After staying here 22 years ago, we came back for three nights this week. The rooms were excellent, the pool was fantastic, and the place was quiet and secure. Management and staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Great value, and we’d stay again. Congratulations, very 😊 😃 happy customer.
