We were here for a touch football competition, and the location was handy for both the fields and town. Restaurants were close too. The staff were polite and helpful, and our room was cleaned properly each day. The pool and BBQ area were very clean and well looked after. A great stay.

Ash made a late arrival easy for us, fitting us in without any stress when we called at 9:50pm on a Thursday, well after hours. The two-bedroom room cost $226 on the Thursday before TCMF, which I thought was an excellent price. It had a queen bed, two singles and a sofa bed. The room was clean, cool with aircon and fans, and well stocked. The beds had good linen, with extra pillows and blankets available. The shower pressure was great, with fast, steady hot water, and the blackout blinds kept the room dark even after sunrise. There’s also an outdoor pool, BBQ area and smoking area set well away from the rooms. We didn't use those. We don’t visit Dubbo often, but we’ll recommend this place to family and friends.

The room was easy to access and clean, with plenty of space and a big spa. I don't think the spa was cleaned at all while I was there using it, though, and the floor wasn't vacuumed during my two days. The king bed was soft on one side, so the mattress probably needs turning or something. I ordered continental breakfast, but it arrived late the next morning, just as I was about to leave.

The BBQ area was great for a casual meal outside, and the pool was clean and refreshing. My room was comfortable, tidy and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I had a wonderful stay at the Shearing Shed Motel and would recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay.

The lady at the Shearing Shed was lovely when I returned the key the next morning, and the place was spotless with a really comfortable bed. I went to Dubbo for a medical procedure early in the morning, before the 3pm check-in, and couldn't drive myself to the hospital. I called on the way and they let me leave the car in the car park. They put my refrigerated goods in the room fridge and called me a taxi too. When I got back, she recognized me and asked if I was okay or needed anything. I had already sorted that out, but even though it was still hours before check-in, she said my room was ready so I could go rest. I was so grateful. I didn't stay a full 24 hours, but I'll be going back. Thank you.
