Ingenia Holidays Eden Beachfront

We had an amazing week here. The cabin was literally 50 metres from the beach, and the Eden township was very close by. Great spot, excellent pricing and staff, and fantastic facilities.

Got kept awake until after 2am by selfish drunks at the next campsite. Reception was outside operating hours, and the number from our welcome pack was nowhere to be found. The other option was walking to the office where it was posted, and I wasn't about to wander around with drunks carrying on at that time of night. This is a caravan park with sites and cabins, not a motel. It's right by the road in a gully, where traffic has to put its foot down, so it's very noisy. TV reception was hard to get. Over a busy long weekend, they had only two toilet and shower rooms open for the whole park. And there's duck crap everywhere, absolutely everywhere. It gets tracked into caravans, toilets and showers, and camp kitchens. It was like camping in a duck pen. I'm concerned about the possible health impact and suggest health inspectors investigate.

The staff are all lovely and super helpful. For a tent without power or an ensuite, I recommend the back two rows on the highway side. They’re a bit noisy from the cars and farther from the toilets, but there’s more space and no other park users waking or driving past. You can also get to taps easily from any nearby powered van site that’s unoccupied. The westernmost row has less room because of the trees, but you get shade in the afternoon when you want it. A solid park.

The reception staff were friendly, and the campsite is clean with a lovely beach. The restrooms and showers were clean and nice too. It’s close to downtown Eden. I highly recommend the Power Site at $42 per night.
