After a seven-hour drive, it was such a relief to find a clean, decent-sized room. You could tell the person cleaning took pride in the place. There were generous snacks in the room, and guests could use the washing machine and dryer. For dinner, we could have food delivered to the door for a small charge or walk 100m to the attached restaurant or pub. The air conditioning was pumping out warm air on a 34° day, which made it hard to sleep. It should have been checked before guests arrived. We only realised it wasn't working after settling in, when reception had already closed. At checkout the next morning, the man at the desk politely said, “we'll look into it.” Some accountability would have been nice. Still, we'd absolutely stay again.

I left a valuable personal item behind by mistake, and Sammy the manager and the whole team went out of their way to keep it safe and post it back to me in Brisbane. Sammy even helped on his day off, and they were understanding about my situation. The rooms at Maraboon Motor Inn Emerald were spotless, homely, and had very comfortable beds. Huge thanks to Sammy and the team for their care. I'd definitely recommend the hotel for its service and professionalism.

The rooms are big, clean, and have air conditioning, room service, and easy parking. There's a small pool and a good pub attached. It seems mainly set up for mine workers, so it's better for people passing through or working locally than for a holiday.

We were just passing through for a night. The communication was great from the start, but the air conditioning in our first room didn't work. No one replied to my message for 30 minutes, so I called. The service was amazing: as soon as I explained the problem, they apologised and changed our room straight away. We'll definitely come back one day!

A quiet, spacious motel with the facilities you'd expect and parking right outside your room. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was good. There's also a pool and a quiet pub next door with good meals and beer.
