We could walk to everywhere we wanted to go in Forster, and Tuncurry was only a short drive across the bridge. The location really is hard to beat. Our group of friends liked having an ensuite for each bedroom, and the apartment was laid out well. The view was great, and undercover parking was a bonus. The furnishings in apartment 14 are getting old, but that didn’t bother us. There is a lot of traffic noise, which comes with being right in the middle of things. Thanks to Greg for suggesting Pacific Ocean in Tuncurry. It’s a lovely little brewery and the food was delicious. Everyone in our group would happily stay here again.

The apartments are spacious, clean, and fully equipped, with amazing views and really friendly staff. Megan, Deb, Tammy and Greg have all been lovely. We’ve stayed at Beaches International many times over the years, and it’s never let us down. We always end up adding an extra night because it’s so hard to leave.

When we stay in Forster, Beaches International is the only place we consider. The rooms are always in great shape and immaculately clean, and the staff are accommodating. Nothing is a problem for them.

The view over Forster main beach and the carpark was reasonable, but nothing special. At nearly $400 a night, we expected much better and definitely didn’t feel it was worth the money. We wouldn’t have booked if we’d known we’d be sharing the apartment with cockroaches. Reception already knew about them and gave me a can of spray. One woman even said the cockroaches love the community and garden, which was a stupid and unprofessional response. The room isn’t serviced daily, there’s no air con in the bedrooms, and traffic noise gets extremely loud from 5am. The pool is small, gym equipment is limited, the treadmill doesn’t work, and parking is tight and tricky. I can’t recommend Beaches International and won’t return.
