The rooms were really comfortable for such an affordable price, and the owners were lovely and very understanding about us having a young son and everything that comes with that, lol. We had a great stay and will certainly come back next time we’re up.

I’ve stayed in lots of motels, but I’ve never regretted booking somewhere so much. The staff, who I think were the owners, were rude and aggressive when I simply asked for extra toilet paper while in town for a medical procedure. They said there was plenty in the room, though there wasn’t even half a roll. The room needs an urgent upgrade, especially the bathroom. I soon understood why there was a can of insect spray in the room. It was listed online as 3 and a half stars, but I think that’s at least three stars above its proper rating.

We were a family of six and spent one night in the two inter-connected rooms, each with three beds. They were clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The rate was about $100 less than another comparable hotel I’d considered, so it felt like good value. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and I’d stay there again.

The rooms were mouldy, dirty and falling apart. But the worst part was how the owners treated me. A woman and a man who seemed to be the owners abused me on several occasions, yelling and calling me names. It was scary and made me feel unsafe. They complained about “excessive noise” outside at 6pm, colleagues arriving late and visiting the office after hours. The man also accused me of self-gratification outside, said he had camera proof and would contact the police. The behaviour felt completely irrational, and nobody was willing to have a proper conversation. We’d booked a week but stayed only one night, with no refund. I wouldn’t recommend staying here under any circumstances.
