Aria Apartments

We had a really comfortable, clean apartment with amazing views and everything we needed. Check-in was easy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of Aria Apartments Broadbeach couldn’t be better, just a short walk to the beach, cafes and shops.

We stayed at the Aria for 11 nights, and we’ve been many times before. This visit was really disappointing. The bathrooms smelled, and when we told reception, they didn’t seem to care. The carpets were stained and worn. We had to clean an oven tray before using it, and found a smashed glass in the cupboard. The spa wasn’t working for 5 days. We raised it in person and by email, but got no response. The day before checkout, we mentioned it again and were told management would call the following week. It’s almost been a week and we’ve heard nothing. They’re also still holding funds on our credit card, and nobody replied when we emailed to follow up. Absolutely gutted. We won’t recommend them to friends or family again. Whoever owns apartment 604 might want to look at their asset and the service being provided.

I’m so disappointed by the reply to the previous rating. Instead of owning the problems and fixing them, you accuse that person of not knowing how to use a BBQ. That reply is my first reason for giving 1 star. The second is that only 1 small burner works across 2 large BBQs, which isn’t satisfactory. The room intercom didn’t work either. A couple in the lift said they’d complained months ago and were told it would be added to the list, so maybe check all of them. Have you seen the herb garden on level 4 lately? It’s weeds now, and an algea pond for mozzies. A month or so ago, I stayed there and there was a pile of putrid, stinky rubbish in the car park for days. I agree with LE, it used to be well managed.

Our group of 8 rented a sub penthouse 4 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. There was heaps of room, and it was spotlessly clean. The location was amazing, 1 block from the beach in the heart of the suburb. Can’t wait to stay again.
