Imperial Hotel Gold Coast

I booked the Imperial Suite for a photoshoot, and the whole experience was great. It was spacious, clean and beautifully presented, with natural light that made the shoot easy. The staff were welcoming and accommodating, supported our shoot, and generously let us use the hotel’s common areas. That really lifted our content. It’s a stunning, versatile space with great service. I’d shoot here again and highly recommend it.

We spent ten days here and really enjoyed our stay. Our Lagoon View Lagoon Room, which we believe is the hotel’s second-best category, was comfortable and well maintained. We’d read some negative reviews before arriving, but our experience didn’t match them. The hotel isn’t brand new, and parts show their age, but that didn’t affect our comfort. You might find a few small flaws if you go looking, though there’s very little to criticize overall. The atmosphere was pleasant, the staff friendly and professional, and everything ran smoothly. We felt welcome and well cared for throughout. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, varied, and with plenty of choice every day. There were no crowds or waits at peak times, and the staff were especially attentive. They brought coffee to the table and offered freshly made omelettes. We were very satisfied and would happily stay again and recommend the hotel. Thanks for a lovely visit!

The hotel itself is beautiful, with elegant interiors, a calm feel and excellent service standards. The staff reflected its luxury positioning throughout my stay in Room 149 on 26 February. I had a problem with a third-party booking platform before check-in, but the hotel team handled it patiently and professionally. The front desk staff were calm and accommodating late in the evening, and I checked in smoothly once the correct reservation came through. After checkout, Angel Collins, Groups and Sales Coordinator, went above and beyond. She replied promptly, laid out the booking details clearly, and sent written confirmation to help with a complicated refund issue involving the booking agent. Her communication was precise and helpful. It’s rare to get such proactive support for a problem outside the hotel’s control. Angel and the reservations team were transparent and showed genuine care. I highly recommend staying here, and you’ll be in capable hands with Angel and the team if you need help.

The breakfast was a real highlight during our ten-day stay. There was lots of fresh variety each morning, and even when it was busy, things never felt chaotic. Coffee came to the table, and we were offered omelettes made to order. The hotel had a relaxing atmosphere, and the professional, kind staff made us feel well hosted. We stayed in a comfortable, well-kept Lagoon View room. We’d felt a little unsure after reading mixed reviews, but our experience was completely different. The property isn’t new and shows some age, but that didn’t detract from the stay. You might spot tiny flaws if you search for them, though they’re negligible. We left very satisfied, would come back in a heartbeat, and wouldn’t let the critics put us off. Thanks to the team for a special holiday! 🙂
