Markham Court

It felt like a home away from home, with friendly staff and a great pool for relaxing. This low rise place is lovely, close to Broadbeach's centre and the beach.

(July 2022) I was in Room 48, though I didn't book the room myself. For a budget holiday, the location is central to everything you might need. The room and ensuite were clean apart from the usual dust. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but that's not something I expect at budget accommodation. Management were friendly, polite and very helpful when I left. I'll come back for a short stay. Just be aware there are stairs, so these apartments won't suit you if you don't like climbing them.

We had a great stay for AASCF Nationals, and the convention centre is within walking distance. The pool is beautiful, the rooms are lovely and fit our whole family, the beds are comfortable, and the underground parking is secure. Kirsty and Graham were very friendly and helpful throughout. Facilities include a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, large fridge and a BBQ near the pool. If you have mobility issues, keep in mind that the top floor apartment means climbing a lot of stairs.

The location was fantastic, a short walk from the restaurants and beach, and our renovated 3 bedroom unit was spacious, really clean and had super comfy beds. We stayed as a family for five days. The only downside was the lack of air conditioning in the two bedrooms. My two young kids were restless at night from the heat and humidity, even with the ceiling fan, and my 18 year old ended up sleeping on the couch most nights to keep cool. She said it was comfy! Other than that, the place was great.
