Montego Sands Resort

Unit 2 was functional and reasonably priced, and would be fine if you're out all day, though it didn't feel much like a holiday apartment. It was on the ground floor by the BBQ and pool, beside the car park in the neighbouring apartment block, so privacy was limited. We had no problems, but kept the blinds shut all day. Even open, they let in little daylight. The balcony was out of action and we couldn't use it. The pool was small, and the bathroom and toilet windows had rusty struts, with one that wouldn't close. There were plenty of good things too: secure parking, lots of hot water and a good shower, very comfortable beds, and a compact but well equipped kitchen. The sofa was comfortable, the TV was big, and there was a dining table. It's very close to the beach, with shops within walking distance. Wi-Fi was excellent, and the manager and staff were friendly.

The staff were helpful and quick to respond, even after hours. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, and Pacific Fair Shopping Centre is around 10 minutes on foot. I spent 2 nights at Montego Sands Resort and was very happy with everything. I absolutely loved the steaming pool, so relaxing and warm after a long day. Recommended, and it's going on my favourite accommodation list.

Terry has been so accommodating, helpful and pleasant to work with over all these months, and the rest of the staff have been amazing too. I found this wonderful resort when I needed somewhere for my mother during the pandemic. Her apartment is comfortable and had everything she needed for a home away from home, with clean, comfortable rooms. We really like the location: it's a short walk to the beach and shops, with easy access to the mall. We'd certainly return to Montego and highly recommend this hotel.

The assigned locked parking was a real help, since street parking is hard to find around here. We had everything needed for a holiday, and the facilities were good. The location is excellent, half a block from the beach, on the main strip, close to major shopping centres and near the airport. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Thanks to them for all their help. I'll definitely stay again.
