The bathroom floor had hairs all over it, and there were bits of fluff across the bedroom floor. It clearly hadn't been cleaned or vacuumed in days, and it made my skin crawl. I've stayed here before and liked the rooms, location, and price, but check-in takes forever and the system is poor. This cleaning was my biggest problem. Need to do better, Harry.

I've been coming here since 2017, about eight years, and it's been a decent place over that time. After more than 20 years in operation, it isn't perfect, but the service is great and the rooms are clean, though they're starting to smell musty and used. The gym is small, as it is everywhere, but has the basics. The pool still works okay after all these years. The balcony views are amazing, especially the hinterland views, which are my favourite. On this stay I waited an hour to be let in. The room smelled musty, like old cigarettes, and there was black mould on the tiled shower floor. The ocean view and service were great, but the gym was tiny and the pool had rubbish in it.

Woolies Metro on site made things really easy, and the location was handy, right by the light rail and several restaurants. The two-bedroom serviced apartment was very well appointed, and the staff were lovely. We also enjoyed the gym, indoor and outdoor pools, spa, sauna, and BBQ area. I'll definitely stay again.

The views from the Southport property were amazing, and both the staff and room were absolutely perfect. The welcome was lovely, as it usually is at Meriton when I travel, and I always enjoy the rooms and amenities. If I had to pick one negative, it would be the bedside lamp. Like, WTH 🤦‍♂️ hahahah. Seriously, everything else was perfect 👌.

The reception ladies were welcoming and friendly, and the service was excellent. I got the modern, clean, quiet room I needed, with an awesome ocean view. Woolworths and good Thai food at the base of the building are an easy walk away. There's basement parking onsite, and Sens cafe right at the entrance is a perfect breakfast spot, with amazing food and coffee. I'll be back for another convenient mini getaway. Thank you ☺️
