The people were friendly and the place had a really welcoming feel. The dosa was crispy, the sambar tasted just like home, and the porota with chicken curry was amazing. The biryani was spot on too. Best South Indian food in Canberra, and it’s my go-to now.

We’d consider coming back. Leumeah Lodge was a decent stay, with a clean, spacious and comfortable room in a convenient location. The staff were helpful too. The heater didn’t warm the room much, though we managed. Also, the listing mentioned a TV, but there was only a TV stand and no actual TV. They refunded part of what we paid, which we appreciated.

My updated room at Leumeah Lodge in Nicholls was immaculate, comfortable, and nicely presented, and I slept really well. The service was outstanding, with every staff member welcoming and incredibly helpful. It’s a quiet location but still close to everything, including Ampol, KFC, and shops. There’s ample free parking, the rooms are modern, and it’s excellent value for money. An easy 5-star recommendation.
