The peaceful setting and beautiful scenery made it easy to switch off and relax. D’Alton Studio is lovely, with spotless, private cabins that feel carefully designed. You can really sense the care and love in the details. We had an amazing stay and will definitely return. Thanks so much for having us!

We had to put the heating on, as it was 13 degrees and the first time we'd been cold in Oz. The cabin was well equipped, so we could cook dinner. Wildlife watching was amazing, with kangaroos right outside the door, including a mother with a joey in her pouch, plus lots of Sulphur crested Cockatoo, ducks and Kookaburra.

The best part was the natural setting. Wildlife is all around the cabins, and it can feel like an Australian safari. Some Sulfur crested cookatoos are cheeky enough to sit right by your door while you're inside. We spent a fabulous week here. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, close to town and some day walks. Would definitely stay again.

Only 700m from town and close to the Boronia Peak walking trail, this was a perfect stop. The spa bath was superb, and the massive TV was an unexpected bonus. The rooms were clean and simple. We had an amazing two-night stay on our way through to S.A, and we'll come back.

We had a spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable stay in a premium cabin surrounded by plenty of wildlife. Ours had a double spa bath, which was just bliss. It’s a perfect place in the heart of the Grampians, and the best place to stay in Hallsgap. This isn't a luxury hotel, so guests should tidy up before leaving. I don't understand people complaining about the dishes. Yes, do them, it's good manners. You're in the middle of a national park, enjoy it and be grateful.
