The A-Frame

The deck out back was a lovely place to barbecue and watch the kangaroos and birds. Tim was also full of local knowledge and pointed us toward some great walks and places to explore. We loved staying at the A-Frame in Halls Gap as a family. He fitted us in at the last minute, welcomed us with a chat, a laugh, and a bottle of wine, and got the kids interested in his handmade puzzles. We also got to see his beautiful furniture and Corvette. We'll definitely stay here on our next Grampians visit.

The A Frame felt like a home away from home, with everything we needed, a great shower and water pressure, a lovely spa, and plenty of space in the living and dining areas. The outdoor deck and barbecue had amazing views, and wildlife including kangaroos, emu, and deer was right at our doorstep. We spent three nights here and had the best time we've ever had in Halls Gap. Tim was terrific and couldn't do enough for us. I'd recommend the A Frame to anyone. We've taken flyers to put on our staff bulletin board, and we'll definitely be back. Hope to catch up with Tim again.

The A-frame is quirky and comfortable, with handmade furniture by Tim that adds a lovely touch. It's packed with essentials and useful information about things to see and do. Tim was so thoughtful and approachable, even going out of his way to help create a memorable moment. It's a fantastic getaway with spectacular views and nature all around, yet only a short walk to the heart of Halls Gap. We'd definitely visit again. Thank you!

We have stayed twice and will be back. It's a lovely house for a family holiday, with a convenient location, a great outlook, and a friendly owner who keeps the place in order and gives fantastic advice. The two bedrooms are a good size, and the beds are very comfortable. The main bedroom has a spa, while the large loft has two singles and a double. The kitchen has everything needed if you want to cook.
