Heyfield Railway Hotel

Dinner was really tasty, and the portions were generous. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and a great overall vibe. We'll definitely come back.

We tried the duck confit, scotch fillet steak and fettuccine carbonara, and all of it was fantastic. Railway Hotel goes well beyond basic pub grub, with food seasoned just right, generous portions and presentation you’d expect from a restaurant. Highly recommend, A+.

We stayed two nights and would happily come back. Railway Hotel had good food, and the place was clean with a comfy bed. Rach was really friendly, as were the other people there. There’s off-street parking, a nice park across the road, and a supermarket, pharmacy and cafes close by. The water was lovely and the shower pressure was excellent. Thanks!!!

The bar staff are the backbone of this place, and their service is second to none. I come in for drinks because they’re energetic and friendly every time, and they’re just as respectful to visitors from out of town as they are to the locals. Rach makes amazing new drinks, and the general chat while she serves us is really engaging. As a regular, I thought Bree was amazing and we all miss her. Rach and Bianca know the locals, keep an eye on the crowd and act in line with RSA guidelines. I’ve seen Bianca diffuse several situations that security couldn’t. The care and local knowledge from this team really stand out. Congrats to the bar staff!
