Trinity Hill Apartments

Apartment 1 was spacious, but not very clean. There were out of date products in the cupboards and fridge. The spa was the main reason we booked, so it was disappointing to find it didn't work. I'd also avoid bathing here, as green water came from both the shower and bath taps.

We had a very enjoyable stay. A couple of safety points could be improved: the doorstep is two loose bricks and a stumble hazard, and there's no smoke alarm in the kitchen. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.

The apartment had full size appliances, including a dishwasher and washing machine, plus a lovely spa bath in apartment 1. It was well worth the money. There’s parking on site, so being far enough from the CBD that you’ll want a car wasn’t a problem. A supermarket and plenty of restaurants and takeaways are also within walking distance.

The building has a long and interesting history, but our stay fell short of usual Airbnb standards. On arrival, the water throughout the house was orange and copper coloured. Even after running it for 2-3 hours, it still seemed contaminated and felt disgusting to shower in. I understand the building is old and has old pipes, but copper coloured water needs a filter system or replacement pipes. It was winter, and one bedroom had no heater. The host said the heater in the dining area would warm the whole house, which meant I had to leave my bedroom door open. That's unreasonable. There's no harm in providing one more heater.
